From an early age, I always loved exercising and dancing. I began taking Body and Soul classes in 1984 and became an ACE certified group fitness instructor in 2014. I fell in love with yoga when I realized my post-workout pain and soreness significantly decreased after practicing yoga. I wanted to learn more about it and became a Holy Yoga instructor in 2015. I am also certified in pre- / post-Natal yoga, senior / chair yoga and yoga touch. My dancing genes felt neglected, so I became a REFIT® instructor in 2016.
After striving for many years to find the perfect equation of exercise and diet to be healthy, I feel I have settled into a relaxed balance of fun workouts in community and private meditative yoga on and off my mat. Do I still freak out and stress? Heck, yeah. But I love being able to go to bootcamp and leave it all on the field and walk away energized, dance it out and be silly, or take it to my mat and breathe and listen to the Lord speak to me through His word.
